New homeless accommodation in Dublin launched by Peter McVerry Trust
Peter McVerry Trust is opening a new accommodation facility in Dublin. This service will provide high quality shelter and support for people experiencing homelessness.
The facility has 60 beds, and is part of the wider package of 202 beds being introduced this winter through a combination of providers. These beds are funded by Dublin Region Homeless Executive, with Peter McVerry Trust providing 85 in total.
The building includes 41 bedrooms and 21 bathrooms, and will be able to cater for 10 hospital discharges through purpose-built rooms especially for people with disabilities. There are also 10 drug-free beds available.
