Join us on our Long Walk Home Series in 2017 as we take on the Great Western Greenway during our two day challenge or climb Slieve Donard in Northern Ireland during our one day challenge.
Great Western Greenway, Saturday 29th & Sunday 30th April, 2017
Take on the longest off road walking and cycling trail in Ireland – the Great Western Greenway in Co. Mayo.
Beginning in Westport on Saturday 29th April, you will walk 42km of the now closed Great Western Railway, finishing on Sunday 30th April on the stunning Keel Beach, on Achill Island. On the way you will pass Croagh Patrick and Clew Bay, and will be rewarded with views of the Nephin Beg Mountains and Clare Island.

Slieve Donard Challenge, Saturday 27th May 2017
Climb with us as we take on Slieve Donard in Co. Down – the highest peak in Northern Ireland on Saturday 27th May, 2017.
Over the course of approximately 5 hours, the Mourne Wall will act as your guide to the summit, following a well define path with a total ascent of 850m. The challenge is worth the effort with views on a clear day from the summit reaching as far as the Isle of Man, Wicklow Mountains, Wales and Scotland.

Now in its 19th year, this event is a 10 km or 5 km distance through the Phoenix Park organised by A&L Goodbody and the Law Society of Ireland which can be ran or walked. This year’s Calcutta Run will take place on 20th May, 2017, and you can find out more about the event and here.
The Wexford Cycle will take place in 2017 on Saturday 16th September 2017 and will take the traditional Route from UCD to Wexford. More information will be available in the coming weeks and months so be sure to check back for details on how to register.
