Residential Drug Aftercare

This service provides a 2 phase drug-free support package for homeless young people who have completed a residential drug treatment programme.

Phase 1 offers safe and structured accommodation to 5 residents, helping them develop independent living skills and coping mechanisms in their transition to a drug-free, independent life.

Phase 2 offers 12 apartments in the community for those who have established independent living skills and who will be supported in their tenancies by PMVT staff.

Referral criteria:

• Over 18 years old.
• In need of aftercare accommodation on completion of a residential drug treatment programme and from those who are drug free and in need of aftercare support.
• Registered on the Dublin County Council homeless list.
• Participating in aftercare support specific to their recovery.
• Participating in or have planned entry into a supported day service, education programme or employment.
